With Christmas fast approaching, Whitsunday Housing is happy to accept donations for families and homeless individuals in need. 

Many of the vulnerable people we work with in the community are feeling immense pressure from the cost of living crisis and rental affordability, with some facing eviction in the lead up to Christmas.  Others are sleeping rough, with few resources to support themselves.

Any donations of non-perishable food or gifts will be greatly appreciated to make vulnerable families Christmas a little brighter.

Queenslanders can now apply for a Rental Security Subsidy online.

As part of the Homes for Queenslanders plan, we are making it faster and easier for Queenslanders to apply for housing and renting support.

Instead of visiting a Housing Service Centre to apply, Queenslanders can now check their eligibility and apply online – and get a quick response to their application.
